A big welcome home is held for about 20 Oklahoma soldiers over the weekend. Dozens of friends and family members were on hand Saturday night to greet them at Tulsa International Airport. The 486th Civil Affairs Battalion returned around midnight from a tour of duty in Iraq.

Master Sergeant Charles Glenn tells The News On 6 things are improving in Iraq.

"The city of Ramadi was one of the most dangerous cities in the world when we got there. Today, it's become one of the model cities of Iraq. It's something to be proud of,” said Master Sergeant Charles Glenn.

The troops serve as liaisons between field commanders and the civil authorities for the region in crisis.
