OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Three Oklahoma City pimps were sent to federal prison Wednesday for taking young girls out of state to work as prostitutes.
Tiffone Lasone Southwell was sentenced by a federal judge to three years and five months in prison. DeCory Danyayle Williams was ordered to serve 10 years behind bars.
Both pleaded guilty in June to taking a 13-year-old girl to Miami in April 2003 to work as a prostitute.
Jermaine Dion Washington was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison. Washington pleaded guilty in June to taking a 12-year-old girl to Denver to work as a prostitute in September 2002.
Washington, Williams and Southwell are among 19 people prosecutors allege shipped more than a dozen girls, ages 12 to 18, to cities throughout the country for prostitution.
