School leaders across Oklahoma say community involvement is crucial to their success and Wednesday they teamed up with Tulsa business leaders to launch another year of the partners in education program.
The Tulsa Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the breakfast at the Greenwood Cultural Center. Terry Hood had the honor of introducing Tulsa School Superintendent Dr David Sawyer. Sawyer said he has big plans for the program.
Tulsa Schools now has 450 business partners; Sawyer hopes to triple that number in the next six years.
