OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision has ordered an Edmond doctor to get some help.
The board told Doctor Kent Smalley on Thursday to undergo evaluation at a treatment center known for helping doctors to determine if he has abused drugs and has personality disorders.
Smalley is accused of being inebriated at the Silver Leaf Pain Clinic and for signing prescriptions for drugs without any patient charts attached.
In other actions, Newkirk Doctor Mark -E- Reiheld surrendered his license in lieu of prosecution on allegations he wrote prescriptions for patients without establishing a medical need.
And Oklahoma City Doctor Mark -A- Woodward's license was suspended for a year after he acknowledged a urine sample he submitted for a drug test wasn't his own.
