MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) _ A man who loved to smile and make others laugh. A man who played golf in his sandals and wore a grass skirt during a trip to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
That's how former Oklahoman, Jack Hensley, was remembered today by about 800 friends and relatives during a memorial service at a Marietta, Georgia, church.
Hensley was working for Gulf Supplies and Commercial Services in Iraq when he and two co-workers were kidnapped September 16th.
Hensley was killed by terrorists on Wednesday, his 49th birthday. Fellow American -- Eugene Armstrong -- also was killed.
Hensley was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of North Carolina.
