NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma women's tennis team had a successful first day of competition today at the University of Las Vegas Fall Invitational.
O-U won six of its seven singles matches and swept all four doubles matches.
Picking up singles victories sophomores Gabby Baker and Amanda Pratzel, senior Heather Saluri and Christi Baxley. Chelsea Orr and senior Jessica Braver were the lone Sooners to sweep their singles matches in two sets.
The Sooners won three out of four doubles matches by a margin of four games or more.
The three-day competition includes players from L-S-U, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Hawaii and host U-N-L-V.
