OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two misdemeanor drug charges have been filed on actor Macaulay Culkin in Oklahoma County.

Culkin was arrested Friday afternoon while traveling on I-44 in Oklahoma City.

Police found just over a half ounce of marijuana and several Xanax pills in the rental car that was being driven by 22-year-old Brett M. Tabisel.

District Attorney Wes Lane says his office will ask that 24-year-old Culkin to get some form of drug treatment, as is customary when charges like this are filed.

No arraignment date has been set.

The car was pulled over about 4 PM for speeding and making an improper lane change on I-44.

Culkin was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and was released after posting $4,000 bond.
