More than six-thousand breast cancer survivors and runners hit the streets in the race for the cure.

The Susan G-Komen Breast Cancer Foundation five-K run started Saturday morning at O-S-U-Tulsa. Last year, Komen-Tulsa raised more than three-hundred-thousand dollars for cancer research, education and treatment.

Nationally, the foundation has raised more than 'six-hundred million' dollars since the early 1980's.
