NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The future of Oklahoma defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek is in doubt.

Cleveland County authorities say Dvoracek is the focus of a police investigation in Norman.

District Attorney Tim Kurkendall says they're looking into an altercation involving Dvoracek last weekend. No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.

Kurkendall says the alleged victim, identified by The Oklahoman as Matt Wilde, is a friend of Dvoracek's from Fort Worth, Texas, who was in Norman for the Houston game.

Wilde was injured in some kind of altercation, but details of what happened are sketchy.

Wilde was hospitalized at Norman Regional Hospital in fair condition last night. He had been in serious condition in the intensive care unit. The extent of his injuries aren't known.

OU coach Bob Stoops declined comment on the matter Thursday. He says he'll handle it internally.
