A Cherokee County woman has been indicted in a murder for hire scheme to hill her husband.

31-year-old Katherine Robertson of Hulbert is charged in a grand jury indictment of using a telephone to commit murder for hire. Investigators claim Robertson and co-conspirator Hugh Alan Means asked an undercover agent about hiring someone to kill Robertsonâ€™s husband.

Brett Robertson was not harmed. Katherine Robertson is in custody. She faces up to ten years in prison.
