There's still no word on the identity of a man found in a Tulsa park Sunday night. But Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies say the man was the victim of a homicide.
Some people fishing in Bird Creek made the grisly discovery under a bridge inside Mohawk Park. The body is so decomposed and damaged by animals; investigators haven't been able to determine the man's race, age or cause of death.
Tulsa County Sheriff’s Captain Mark Williamson: "At this time there are no distinguishing marks that we can see and no identification at this point."
Captain Williamson says the man was wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes. He says it appears he may have been dumped off the bridge from Mohawk Boulevard.
