Tulsa is losing more direct flights to Dallas. The News on 6 has learned Delta's partner, ASA-Delta Connection, will eliminate its flights between Tulsa and Dallas, effective January 31st.
Right now, the airline has four daily flights between the two cities. Delta is eliminating up to 7,000 jobs, cutting employee wages, and shedding its Dallas hub as part of a plan to compete with low-fare rivals and avoid bankruptcy.
ASA-Delta Connection will continue flights to its other hubs, Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Salt Lake City.
Just last month, Southwest Airlines announced it was cutting some round-trips between Tulsa and Dallas.
