An investigation continues into a bullet riddled vehicle stopped by Tulsa Police early Thursday morning. That stop led to two arrests.
It started shortly before 1:30 AM. An officer saw a suspicious vehicle on South Utica. He turned around to check it out, and the driver took off. They wound up on a dead end street, where one passenger ran away.
The driver turned around, and started back at the officer. He and his passenger then got out and as the officer called for help, the driver suddenly ran away. He was arrested a few minutes later. Police say they also found something suspicious in the vehicle.
Tulsa Police officer Dan Ward: “A search of the vehicle revealed that there was a nine millimeter carbine rifle in the back seat of the truck and the truck has numerous bullet holes in it.â€
Officers aren't sure what all the bullet holes are from. Officer Ward says one of the suspects had outstanding warrants. He also says they're convicted felons.
