BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) _ Karrie Webb begins a defense of her John Q-Hammons Hotel Classic title Friday at the Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow.
The Australian won the event by nine strokes last year, marking her first tour win in 13 months.
Since then she's won the Kellogg-Keebler Classic and placed Number 15 on the money list with more than $480,000 this year.
But Webb isn't as dominant as she was in 1999 and 2000 when she won 12 of 29 tournaments.
She faces seven of the top ten LPGA tour money winners, including Annika Sorenstam, Meg Mallon and Grace Park.
