Near Collinsville, a malfunction causes part of 156th Street North to be blocked off late Tuesday night.

Authorities say around 10:40 PM, a northbound train had to stop when one of the cars had a malfunction on its braking system. That caused some damage to the track. Officials took off six cars and sent the train on its way.

Officials say none of the cars is carrying hazardous materials and no one was hurt.

Officials are checking the damage Wednesday, to see what repairs need to be made.
