TULSA (AP) Oklahoma's largest school district will welcome students back to class tomorrow with improvements to some buildings and policy changes.

Tulsa School District spokesman John Hamill says four major changes have been made to the code of conduct since last year, including allowing students to wear flip-flops. A student committee sought the change.

The district altered its suspension policy. Students can now be suspended if they fail to report an incident they hear could happen on district property.

Bond projects were completed at some schools, including new heating and air conditioning at Skelly Elementary and new windows at Nathan Hale High School. Three elementary schools received new roofs.
