OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The highlight of Septemberfest for one Oklahoma City resident, his stepchildren and a friend was hearing a story from the governor.

Dan Aman, his stepchildren, Sarah Barber and Preston Barber, and their friend Megan Eaton all sat down for story time today on the lawn of the Governor's Mansion.

Governor Brad Henry read ``Oh, the Places You'll Go!'' and first lady Kim Henry read ``Yertle the Turtle.''

Former Governor Frank Keating and his wife, Cathy Keating, started the event eight years ago as a way to lead up to the state's centennial in 2007.

Governor Henry says the festival offers Oklahomans a chance to celebrate the state's heritage and see the mansion.

The event included a petting zoo, clowns, a hay maze, a water safety demonstration and a Bass Pro Shops fishing tank.
