The investigation of Oklahoma’s insurance commissioner continues and is costing taxpayers about $118,000.
Carroll Fisher is accused of neglect of duty, corruption, and incompetency. A special session of the state House meets next Thursday to consider impeaching Fisher. That will cost $20,000 a day.
If the articles of impeachment are approved, the state Senate would then convene to hold a trial.
