Law officers from across the nation are in Broken Arrow this week. 25 officers from four states are attending basic SWAT school in Broken Arrow.

The school provides tactical training on several topics, such as handling armed and barricaded subjects, vehicle assaults and tactical shooting. Organizers say it’s a way to keep up with the changing times and helps departments work together.

Broken Arrow Police Captain Heath Arning: "Everything changes, technology, tactics, important that we stay together."

Officers from New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma are attending the SWAT school.
