CLAYTON, Okla. (AP) -- The Clayton High School baseball coach is on paid leave while officials investigate an allegation he watched a player being hazed.
The mother of a 14-year-old freshman says coach Michael Clay watched as her son was hazed during an overnight trip to a baseball tournament in Union City.
Adriana Cruz says her son's ankles were tied and he was dragged down a hallway. She says the players then beat her son with belts and threw apples at him.
Clay denies the accusations.
