A 20 year-old Coweta man is in the hospital after a one car accident on the Creek Turnpike.

Jenks Police say John McClure was driving westbound near Elwood when his car left the roadway and came to rest in the Arkansas River bed, catching fire.

McClure is in stable condition with head injuries. Jenks Police are investigating.
