One of the issues voters will consider in November's election abortion rights. Members of the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform are in Tulsa this week trying to influence those voters using graphic displays of aborted fetuses.
The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform says they are trying to change the pro-life movement. They say the reality of abortion can't be put into words.
Starting Monday and for the next couple of days, CBR will have several of the billboard trucks driving around busy areas of Tulsa with images of aborted human embryos and early fetuses.
Field Manager Bill Calvin says they want Tulsa voters to see the real images of abortion and take into account who they will vote for come November.
He hopes the campaign has an influence on Oklahoma's senate race between Former Congressman Tom Coburn and Brad Carson who both have a firm stance on the issue. "When people see these images hopefully they're gonna say, ' Do I want to vote for a candidate who favors this activity and is in favor of killing an innocent baby like that."
The trucks will be in Tulsa all week near downtown, Tulsa, 51st and Memorial and 71st and Memorial just to name a few places.
The trucks will be in Oklahoma City next week and will continue throughout all 22 key states until election day November 2nd.
