Tulsa area residents have gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to Project Spirit Supplies.

Wednesday, Restore Hope Ministries picked up several loads of donated supplies from Tulsa Teacher's Credit Union. The supplies will be distributed to area school children Thursday.

Last year, Project Spirit Supplies helped 2,700 children go back to school in style. So far this year, 2,500 families have signed up to receive assistance.
