Emergency management officials honored for service

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Four state emergency management officials are being honored for their contributions to public service.
Officials from Owasso, Bethel Acres, Dewey County and Blaine County were honored last night by the Oklahoma Emergency Management Association.
A spokeswoman from the organization say the four were honored for outstanding commitment to emergency management programs in the state.
Among those honored were Dewey County Sheriff Robert Prentice, Blaine County Emergency Management Director Anita Cowan and former Bethel Acres Emergency Management Director Melvin Potter. Owasso Emergency Management Director Roger Voss was also recognized.
