IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Here are some notes about the Dallas Cowboys:

During the regular season, Bill Parcells has a way of making sure the Dallas Cowboys quickly forget the previous game.

Win or lose, the players don't get much of a break the next day.

With rest on Tuesday, the players' regular day off during the season, Parcells believes they're feeling pretty good by Wednesday.

Dallas won't have the luxury of that kind of schedule next week.

The Cowboys play their next exhibition Monday night against Tennessee. Three days later, another they face Kansas City. At least both games are at Texas Stadium.

Pro Bowl defensive tackle La'Roi Glover said it usually takes two or three days after a game for his body to start feeling better.

MATT OR BRYANT?: Billy Cundiff wasn't in serious competition to remain the Cowboys kicker when training camp began.

But that changed when former New York Giants kicker Matt Bryant was signed August eleventh.

Only one of them will remain with the Cowboys. But whichever one doesn't should be able to find another job pretty quickly.

The Cowboys have had inquiries from other teams about both kickers.

THAT'S KEYSHAWN: When asked why there is a perception that Keyshawn Johnson wants to catch every pass, Bill Parcells said that's because it's true.

But Parcells said the receiver does more than just talk.

Johnson spent three seasons with Parcells for the New York Jets, and had consecutive Pro Bowl seasons during that stretch.

EAGER EATON: Defensive tackle Chad Eaton made sure to get the message to Bill Parcells that he could still play.

And he's going to get that chance in Dallas, where Parcells is looking for depth on the interior defensive line.

Eaton signed yesterday and went to practice after passing a physical.

After starting 32 games consecutive games for Seattle, he missed all of last season with a knee injury that required four surgeries.

Familiarity was an advantage for Eaton. He played for Parcells in New England and for defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer at Washington State.

Eaton weighed in at 325 pounds, about ten pounds heavier that Parcells would like him to be. Still, Parcells expects him to play some Monday.
