Fourth former Ottawa County jail inmate files claim

MIAMI, Okla. (AP) _ A fourth former inmate of the Ottawa County Jail is filing a claim against the county alleging she had sex with a former jailer.

Tonya Michelle Pease of Miami is seeking $250,000. The 26-year-old claims she was involved in two sex acts with former jailer Jeffrey Wayne Thomure II in 2003.

Pease is one of four women who have filed claims against the county over allegations they had sex with Thomure while they were incarcerated.

Pease was jailed on a bogus checks charge and is no longer incarcerated at the county jail in Miami.

Thomure left the sheriff's department in March, shortly before the first allegations surfaced.

Thomure is facing two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of oral sodomy following an investigation into the incidents by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
