DALLAS (AP) -- Southwest Airlines announced Monday it plans to cut 88 flights in October, including some round-trip flights between Dallas and Tulsa.
Southwest says it will shift the flights to more profitable routes, mainly in and out of Philadelphia.
The airline says it hopes the changes will increase revenue by $60 million.
Southwest has been hurt by rising costs for jet fuel and labor and saw second-quarter profits fall by 54%.
