Some Broken Arrow residents will get a loud and smelly early morning wake-up call. Tuesday at 5 AM, Oklahoma Natural Gas and ONEOK will re-route a natural gas line in the area of 61st and Lynn Lane.
It part of construction going on in the Stone Wood Hills area.
There's very little risk to folks in the area, but as a precaution, Lynn Lane will be closed from Tacoma Street, north to Dover Street. And 61st will be closed from Lynn Lane to 12th Street.
Officials warn the release will sound like a loud jet airplane and the air will smell like rotten eggs for a time. The roads should be open in time for school traffic.
Workers will do two shorter procedures on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
