BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) _ It's a bittersweet decision for the University of Alabama.
The Crimson Tide has ended its contract for historic Legion Field in Birmingham and will play all of its football games this season on campus at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The city and the school cited structural problems with the crumbling upper deck.
Still, fans say the games in Birmingham had a special feel. Paul ``Bear'' Bryant won his 315th career game there over Auburn in 1981.
And it was the site of the first-ever Southeastern Conference championship game in 1992.
