A Creek County district court judge accused of inappropriate sexual conduct while on the bench is resigning.

Judge Donald Thompson submitted a letter of resignation to Governor Brad Henry Wednesday. The letter is four sentences long, but doesnâ€™t provide a reason for the resignation.

Thompson has been accused of repeatedly using a sexual device on himself while presiding over trials.

His resignation takes effect September 1st.
