A Tulsa chop shop in the 1900 block of East 50th Street North Monday evening has been broken up and Tulsa Police have uncovered some guns in the process.
Tulsa Police found what was left of four cars picked clean and sold for parts. And they recovered three military-style assault rifles. Officers say the shop was a big money maker for gang members. Tulsa Police Corporal BK Smith: "It funds their current habits to buy drugs and guns and that's what we're here for and I'm thankful we got three or four guns off the street tonight."
Police say they're following solid leads to catch those running the chop shop.
