Lights, Camera, Action, a phrase that's becoming increasingly popular in northeast Oklahoma.

The News on 6 caught up with the Oklahoma Movie Makers as they shot scenes for the upcoming short film "The Diner" at Tulsa’s Denver Grill on Saturday.

Creator Marc Hall says when they decided to make the film; they knew the Denver Grill was a perfect setting for the movie. "It's perfect; it has a 50's look to it. It's exactly what we've been going for. And, considering it's going to be torn down soon, it's a fitting end for it."

The city of Tulsa has begun the process of condemning the Denver Grill, as part of the city's new arena project.

The movie crew will shoot in several other locations in Tulsa and Muskogee. Hall says the plan is to show the finished product at some local film festivals.
