LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- A Comanche County man will be arraigned next week after he allegedly shot his son to death over a dog.

The man, whose name wasn't released, is accused of shooting his 32-year-old son in the head and face with a shotgun late Thursday.

Comanche County Sheriff's investigator Johnny Phillips says the man and his son lived at the same residence.

Phillips says the department has asked for an extension in recommending what charges to file against the father.
