EL RENO, Okla. (AP) -- A trucker whose yellow tractor-trailer resembles one investigators believe to be linked to a serial killer has been questioned and released.
El Reno police say an officer spotted the truck on I-40 and followed it to a weigh station to questioned the driver.
The driver, a white male who doesn’t fit the description on the black man authorities are searching for.
The man was released by El Reno Police. His name hasn't been released.
The truck driver told police he had been pulled over by other law enforcement officers between New Mexico and Oklahoma.
The man authorities are looking for has been described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old. He has a cleft in his chin, two gold-plated teeth and officials say he speaks with a Jamaican accent.
Police believe he was the last person to see Taddemika McHenrey alive. McHenrey worked as a prostitute and was found dead at a rest stop near Hydro.
Her death may be linked to the killings of a dozen other women.
