WAGONER, Okla. (AP) -- A 74-year-old Broken Arrow man was killed when the motorcylce he was driving was hit by a car on Highway 69 south of Wagoner.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Robert Nelson died at Muskogee Regional Medical Center from massive injuries suffered in Thursday's crash.
The patrol says Nelson was attempting an improper turnaround when he pulled in front of a 2004 Nissan Altima driven by Bonnie Spencer of Muskogee.
The OHP says Nelson was thrown about 60 feet in the crash.
Spencer and two passengers in her vehicle were not injured in the crash.
