The couple's dream was to live in Alaska, so, they packed everything they owned and left Alabama, headed north. They stopped in Tulsa to visit a relative and someone stole their trailer and their dream.

News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright has their story.

Curtis and Enpidia Purser, only married since December, are still in shock that all the possessions they own in this world are packed inside a Ford Explorer.

They recently sold their home and everything in it except what they needed to start a new life in Alaska, bought a new, black continental wedge-nose trailer[similar to this picture], and headed out. Curtis: "We had beds, stoves, generator, tools, pictures, books, wedding dress. The list goes on and on.â€ Enpidia: "We have nothing, clothing, shoes, nothing. It makes me sad."

On a tight budget, the couple planned to pitch a tent in state parks along the way and even on the ferry boat that was to take them from the state of Washington to their new state, but the tent and everything else is now gone.

Curtis: "We had files, military papers, things that cannot be replaced inside that trailer." The couple stopped in Tulsa on Saturday to visit an aunt who works at Big Splash. The trailer wasn't locked so someone simply unhooked it, pulled it away and hooked it on to another vehicle.

They parked outside the park around 11 AM next to a concrete barrier. A lady who parked next to them at 12:30PM said the trailer was already gone.

There was a radio station and lots of people in the parking lot, so many people; they hope somebody saw something that will get their stuff back.

Curtis: "If you want something, just ask me, I'll help you out, just don't steal my dream from me."

They are stuck in Tulsa, trying to figure out what to do next, their trip, their whole future is on hold because of this act of thievery. The couple didn't have insurance and can't afford to replace the trailer and all their belongings, including wedding presents they haven't even opened yet.

Their family is helping them put up a $500 reward for the return of their belongings.

As you can imagine they are simply devastated and right now, don't have a very good impression of Tulsa, so if anyone saw something at Big Splash on Saturday or sees the trailer, they need to call police.
