Another Oklahoma US Marine is back on Sooner soil. After months in Iraq, Corporal David Cranke arrived at Tulsa International Airport Monday afternoon.

Cranke is a 2001 graduate of Jenks High School, who joined the US Marine Corp right after graduation. He was one of the first Marines to enter Iraq at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He says the Iraqi people he met were not hostile toward Americans. "Everyone I met, very grateful, support us 100%."

Cranke, and his fiancé, Laycee will spend the week here in Oklahoma, before returning to Camp Pendleton, California. They plan to spend lots of time visiting with friends and family.
