It may only be August, but Friday night, folks are already gearing up for Oktoberfest. Volunteers lined up at Expo Square to get in on some of the fun.

The coordinators at Oktoberfest need more than 2,200 volunteers to pull off the party, helping everywhere from arts and crafts to electrical work.

Of course, Oktoberfest benefits the River Parks, and they've given nearly $700,000 to the parks so far.
