Thousands of area children are getting help to buy school supplies this year, thanks to Project Spirit Supplies.

The News on 6 recently teamed up with the Tulsa Drillers to raise money for the project. On 6 In The Morning Wednesday, Chuck Lamson of the Tulsa Drillers presented a check for $1,668.50 to each of our partners, Steve Whitaker with John 3:16 and Larry Johnson with Restore Hope Ministries.

News on 6 anchors LeAnne Taylor, Casey Norton and James Aydelott raised that money by working hard selling concessions at a Drillers game last month.
