Tulsa authorities are looking for a man who led them on a short chase late Monday night and got away.

Investigators say a Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s deputy tried to stop a car just before 11 o'clock Monday night on the Broken Arrow Expressway for a routine traffic violation.

But the driver took off and circled around several businesses on Harvard before going into the neighborhood near 25th and Florence. He hit a curb, then bailed out and ran.

A Tulsa Police helicopter searched for the driver but didn't find him.
