One big player in Oklahoma Democratic politics is sitting out the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

There is a seat on the convention floor in the Oklahoma delegation section reserved for 2nd District Congressman Brad Carson, now the Democratic nominee for the US Senate.

It's a seat that's been empty all week.

Carson is walking a fine line between being a loyal Democrat and running in a conservative state.
