Tulsa is one of 15 US cities to receive a million dollars to help domestic abuse victims.

Mayor Bill LaFortune, Congressman John Sullivan and DVIS announced an award through President Bush's "family justice initiative.â€

The money will go toward a new center where domestic abuse victims can get help.
