Tulsa Police make an arrest in an early Monday morning car chase.

Authorities say officers were trying to stop a speeding car weaving through traffic on US Highway 75, but the driver sped off. He led police on a chase that ended when he crashed near 15th and Utica.

Police say the man then ran off into a nearby neighborhood. With the help of the police helicopter and canine units, he was arrested 2 hours later. Witnesses say it could've been deadly. Witness Eli Hudon: "We were inside; we heard a loud noise, a car wreck. Police came by our store here. Then he got in the back of our lot, jumped the fence pointing guns at us, threw one on top of the building.â€

The vehicle was reported stolen. The suspect is in the Tulsa County jail.
