OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The typical Oklahoma delegate to the Democratic National Convention is Protestant, a Baby Boomer and is worried about jobs, health care and the war in Iraq.

A delegate survey by The Associated Press also shows more than half of the 47 delegates flying to Boston this weekend were pledged initially to candidates other than John Kerry.

They are also enthused about the selection of John Edwards as the vice presidential nominee.

About 60 percent of the 32 delegates surveyed say they were for Edwards for vice president before the North Carolina senator was picked as Kerry's running mate.

About 19% were for Clark and 13% were for Dick Gephardt of Missouri.
