A man is in a Tulsa hospital after an early Wednesday morning police shooting.
Tulsa Police say it started about 3 AM at a home near Oklahoma Street and Birmingham Place. Officers say 39-year-old Matthew Nunn called them saying he was depressed and suicidal.
Police soon arrived and surrounded the house. That's when the situation quickly turned dangerous. Tulsa Police Sgt Kim Presley: "He came out on the porch with a rifle with a scope, pointed it at officers. Two officers on the scene fired, one of those was .40 caliber, and the other one was a less lethal shotgun. One round went through the man's arm and through his chest."
Nunn was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he is said to be stable condition.
Police are still investigating.
