West Tulsa standoff ends with arrest

A man in his 80's is in custody following an early morning police stand off. Tulsa Police officers say it started around 4 AM Tuesday in a home near Charles Page and 45th West Avenue.

Police say the man was fighting with his son and threatened him with a gun. The son escaped out a window and called in the police with a cell phone.

The police arrived and spent about two hours talking to the man. Finally the man surrendered to officers. No one was hurt.

Charges are pending.
