A busy Tuesday morning for Tulsa Police. They had to deal with several burglaries and chases.

First off, Tulsa Police arrested a man in connection with a business burglary. Police arrested 31-year-old Robert Johnson after he led them on a chase.

They believe he may have been trying to steal law mowers from Southside Mowers on Skelly Drive. Officers say Johnson took off in his truck but crashed on I-44 near the Ford of Tulsa dealership.

He ran on foot and hid in a dumpster where officers found and arrested him.

He could face a series of charges.

A Tulsa Police officer is recovering after an early morning chase. The chase started when police tried to pull over a Jeep.

The driver, 42-year-old Mark Lee led them on a chase before crashing near Virgin and Pine, and then he took off on foot. Officers were able to catch and arrest him.

Officer Bill Jenkins tore his ACL during the foot chase and has been treated and released from a local hospital.

And Tulsa Police are searching for the suspects in a convenience store burglary. It happened just before 2 AM at the R and R store at 2424 East Pine.

Witnesses say they saw men break out a window, grab some items and later leave the scene in a white car. Police say a car with a similar description was reported stolen earlier in east Tulsa.
