Two inmates who escaped from a McAlester prison are back behind bars. Sheriff's deputies arrested Dustin Mapes in Binger, Oklahoma Saturday afternoon.

Mapes was serving a five-year sentence for burglary.

Michael Hailey escaped with Mapes. He was caught walking along a road in Canadian County Sunday morning. Hailey was serving 12 years on a drug conviction.

Both were reported missing after a head count at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center.
