Competition among young athletes these days is furious. Often a little extra training can mean the difference in making the team or not.

A specialized training facility has opened in Broken Arrow designed to provide that extra bit of training. Tulsa Drillers catcher Jeff Winchester was working with four young players when the News on 6 was there and he says he wishes he'd had an opportunity like this when he was a kid. "If I'd learned this at a younger age it's scary to think where I'd be right now."

Velocity Sports Performance is a national franchise. They feature training in all sports for all ages but they focus on kids.
