(St. Louis-AP) -- The president of the Oklahoma district of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod is now first vice president of the church.

Church delegates selected Reverend William Diekelman to replace Reverend Daniel Preus during its convention in St. Louis Sunday.

Delegates also re-elected the Reverend Gerald Kieshnick as president of the 2.6-million member church.
